Merit University Launches Blood Donation Campaign: A Community Initiative to Support the Health Sector and Patients Sohag – As part of its active community and humanitarian role.
Merit University organized a large-scale blood donation campaign at its campus in Sohag Governorate, in cooperation and coordination with the Regional Blood Bank. This initiative aims to support the needs of Egyptian hospitals and medical centers for various blood types and contribute to saving the lives of patients and the injured.
The campaign witnessed a large turnout and active participation from students, faculty members, and university staff. An atmosphere of enthusiasm and social responsibility prevailed, confirming the deep-rooted spirit of solidarity and human compassion among members of the university community and the surrounding society.
In a statement, Professor Dr. Sawsan Morsi, President of the University, affirmed that this campaign is part of a series of impactful initiatives adopted by the university to solidify the concept of effective community participation and instill the values of giving and volunteer work in the younger generation.
