The Third Conference of the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Department at the Sohag Heart and Digestive System Center was held on Thursday and Friday, December 18-19, 2025, at the Sohag Rowing Club. The conference was attended by Professor Dr. Nabil Nour El-Din, Vice President of the University, representing Merit University, and Professor Dr. Amal Abdel Fattah, representing the Faculty of Medicine at the University. The conference addressed the latest international medical recommendations in the fields of gastroenterology, infectious diseases, and liver diseases and transplantation. A select group of professors, consultants, and specialist physicians from various Egyptian universities, institutes, and specialized medical centers participated. The conference was held to support the exchange of medical expertise and to raise the scientific and professional level of physicians and specialists.
