In confirmation of its established community role in environmental development and community service, Merit University organized a specialized medical convoy in ophthalmology and ophthalmic surgery, with active participation from students of the Faculty of Human Medicine, aiming to enhance their field skills and provide healthcare services to citizens.

The convoy’s activities commenced under the supervision of Dr. Kariman Gamal – Consultant of Ophthalmology and Ophthalmic Surgery.

The convoy’s activities included conducting accurate medical examinations on numerous medical cases, providing specialized medical consultations, as well as referring cases requiring close follow-up to complete their treatment programs in specialized institutions.

This initiative comes within the framework of Merit University’s strategy aimed at preparing highly competent medical cadres and consolidating its social responsibility towards the community.
