Soad Shaker Ali

PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY

Professor Soad Shaker Ali received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. Master degree and Ph D in cytology and histology ,Histology department ,Faculty of Medicine Assuit university Egypt . She was working there for 27 years sharing in many research activities. thesis supervision and scientific conferences. Prof. Soad Shaker joined faculty of medicine King Abdul-Aziz University. Jeddha, Saudi Arabia 1993 where she worked as a staff member in Medical Biology Department for 10 years then worked in Anatomy Department in the same collage where she shared in teaching cytology and histology to medical students in pharmacy nursing and collage of medicine and supervised many master and PhD theses from different university departments . She was contributed to teaching many courses in the field of molecular genetics, cytology and histology in both departments. Prof. Soad is the recipient of several research grants. Published over 100 papers in peer reviewed journals and contributed to publishing chapter concerning cellular interactions in an international scientific book… She is an active member in many scientific chairs in KAU. She has served on the editorial board and as a reviewer for a wide range of scientific Journals

Personal interest:
All through her scientific life promotions Prof. Soad interested in researches linked to Koran information
and Suna of prophet Mohammed ( peace upon him). Prof. Soad master thesis deals with the causes that our
prophet encouraged circumcision in male to protect against cancer of genital system. while in Ph D the
variation in day dark/ light cycle effect on male systems provided facts about variation in day times
mentioned in Koran . Working with the team of prophet medicine chair encouraged me with my colleagues
to work in providing application of different natural products mentioned on Koran and Suna on health and
diseases conditions hoping to attract attention to greatness of Islam in dealing with all aspects of human’
s life.
Recently she is working with professional team on biomarkers of covid-19 in different ages using new
diagnostic tools besides screening post covid and post vaccination side effects
