🗣️ The seminar was delivered by Prof. Dr. Hisham Ahmed Fahid – Professor of Egyptian Antiquities at the Faculty of Archaeology, Sohag University,
in the presence of faculty members and students.
This seminar was organized to affirm Merit University’s commitment to participating in national celebrations marking the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum, and its dedication to enhancing cultural and historical awareness among its students, while fostering a sense of belonging to Egypt’s ancient civilization, which stands as one of humanity’s greatest legacies across the ages.
During the seminar, Prof. Dr. Hisham Ahmed Fahid addressed the construction phases of the Grand Egyptian Museum and the significance of its establishment, highlighting that it is considered one of the largest museums in the world. He also reviewed the modern scientific methods used in transporting archaeological statues to ensure their preservation from any damage.
